Mark your calendars and start cleaning out those closets!
AustCham and the Salvation Army Korea are joining forces to organize a collection of pre-loved clothing and household items in the Seoul area.
AustCham members, colleagues and friends are invited to contribute to our group donation of pre-loved clothing and household goods for the Salvation Army. The Salvo’s will then distribute them to needy families or sell them in their thrift stores throughout Korea.
What can I donate?
> Pre-loved clothing and shoes
> Toys
> Books (any language) and CD’s
> Kitchenware
> Linens and bedding (except curtains)
> Household items
> Non-perishable foods e.g. tinned or packaged items
Note: Large items of furniture (e.g. couches and tables) can be collected from your home by arrangement. Contact AustCham for details. Beds cannot be re-sold in Korea
Where do I take my stuff?
For your convenience, there will be two drop-off points in Seoul at the homes of AustCham Board Members:
> Point A: Itaewon (near the Grand Hyatt)
Ben Way’s home will be open between 10:00am ~ 12:30pm

> Point B: Shinchon (Yonsei University)
Diana Underwood’s home will be open between 1:00pm ~ 4:00pm

Please contact us if you cannot organize a drop off at the above locations or times - or if you need stuff collected from your house. We may be able to assist with transport on Saturday if required.
Australian refreshments (including meat pies and Tim Tams) will be offered at both houses throughout the day. Come along and meet other AustCham members over coffee and a hot pie!
